They couldnt stop talking about the food, especially the salmon and the mini taco hors douevres. Every aspect of my event went smoothly. Melissa was phenomenal. She was impressively thorough with all the details, numbers, and event flow. She made us feel really comfortable. It was a memorable day and Im so happy we selected this venue.

Comment: The experience was very professional. As a person with allergies. They accommodated my every need. Simple, delicious good while in an event.The only issue I had was that I asked a young man serving to bring me room temperature water. His response was would you like to have scalding water poured on you. Then, proceeded to storm into the service area and came back disheveled, grumbling to another server and certainly not with the water requested. Im not sure what that issue was. But, it wasnt very professional, nor welcoming.Otherwise, the entire service for the club was well done.

The Director of Catering, Melissa Nieves was very helpful during the preparations leading up to the event and at he night of the party paying close attention to every detail. The venue is nice and neutral leaving for us to decorate beautifully. The Catering staff, bar attendant and valet were all friendly and professional.

Comment: I really like the Wanderers Club and it’s been one of my family’s and my Real Estate Brokerage’s home away from home/office for many years now. It’s really an equestrian’s social hub in season, a sanctuary for local Moms and their kids, it has an excellent fitness facility and the two restaurants are great. I have played polo on the driving range and recently commentated for a women’s charity polo match. The Wanderers Club is on the multi-use path system that links a lot of Wellington. So residents the Meadow Wood, Lakefield and Aero Club communities can get there by golf. Cart, bike or even on foot.

Comment: We had our wedding on 09/14/2021 from the beauty of the place to the staff attention and diligently to make everything perfect for us. The food was amazing all of our guest were so happy with it, we had a few plates with special needs (vegan and vegetarian) and they made sure they had the right plate.Whitney was wonderful keeping us on track and helping us with everything she possible could. At the end of the night they even helped us to take decorations down and put them safely in boxes.If we had to do it again with no doubt will choose the wanderers.

The setting was beautiful, and we were married in front of two palm trees in what could only be called a tropical paradise. Comment: The Wanderers Club brings together golf, tennis, and polo in a family-friendly atmosphere and offers a winter haven for equestrians, golfers, and sport enthusiasts alike, only minutes away from the aforementioned polo grounds. It’s a golfer’s hallowed ground smack dab in the middle of horse country. But the horses aren’t as far away as you think. In designing the 18-hole course, architects Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy incorporated a world-class polo field into the driving range. During the season, it’s not unusual to see golfers looking over at an ongoing polo match on the driving range to the right while playing the first hole.The golf course at The Wanderers Club is always in spectacular condition; immaculate fairways, well-manicured bunkers, water hazards and undulating brush-cut greens await you as you play your way around the layout.A few holes stand out in my mind. Number 8 is a short par 4 – 294 yards from the Green tees - that offers big hitters the opportunity to go for the green. For the rest of us, there’s a trio of bunkers in the landing area so you’ll need to decide to carry them off the tee or layup. It’s about 180 yards to carry the bunker on the left side, so choose your club accordingly. From there, you’ll need to be precise with your approach shot to this elevated and angled green that slopes back to front and is very well protected. Par is actually a respectable score on this hole.Number 15 is a long par 3; 192 yards from the Blue tees with sand everywhere. It plays uphill and slightly longer than the stated yardage and there is some bailout area to the left. Just don’t go too far left or you’ll find the waste bunker.Number 18 is a strong finishing hole; a 364-yard, par 4 around a lake. Sand bunkers dot the landing area on both sides. Navigate around them off the tee and you’ll have a mid to short iron into an angled green that is well protected by sand and water left. The more you approach the green from the right side, the more you take the water and bunkers out of play.The professional golf staff at The Wanderers Club are dedicated to helping members get the most enjoyment out of their golf game. Whether you’re a scratch handicapper or a beginner, they will work with you to take your game to the next level. And, they have the perfect venue to do it. It was a very nice venue to host a large group and we had a good time. The 4 stars out of 5 is because all of the other things were great but the service was lacking. There were numerous coffee and refill of water requests that went unheeded and there appeared to be a lack of wait staff. Otherwise a lovely place to have an event.

Comment: Beautiful, well appointed country club set in a golf/polo community. The staff are friendly & well trained. The food is tasty & well prepared. I look forward to going to events at the Wanderers Club.

Comment: Amazing. Private locker room, other members are friendly, bartenders are nice, pro shop is friendly, course was aerated and it was better than most local courses in their prime! Highly recommend if you can go. *private*
