Comment: Four stars because we stayed here twice. Once last year at Ariel Dunes II & once, so far, this year in a lakefront villa. We are returning soon to stay in a Boardwalk villa. We stayed here for a music festival each time. AD condo was just okay. The view from 18th floor is terrific but the furnishings were thrift store quality & not very comfortable. Dollar store level cookware & utensils. Uncomfortable patio furniture.Most recent stay in the LF villa was so much better! Villa must have had a very recent upgrade as everything was new. Beautiful & high grade furnishings throughout. Spotless in every room. Nice view of lake with comfy lanai furniture. Close to beach. Mostly quiet & the only annoyances were the hundreds of little white flying insects that clung on the screens every day (it’s Florida, I get it) & the jerk who stood outside & smoked his cigars that wafted into our lanai. The sounds of frogs & other things at night was great! The resort seems to be kept up nicely, like the pool furniture is in excellent condition, pools are clean, workers around everywhere sprucing & maintaining. Plenty of parking for cars & golf carts. Spray off areas are all over to clean sand from beach. I like it here.

Comment: Stayed at Arielle Dunes II and condo was clean and comfortable but had some wear as obviously income property only. Two pools were heated but one was a very long walk to use kiddie pool (Tennis Center) and other was not small children friendly. Pools were very nice and well maintained just a bit too cold for end of April for use with small children. Not a criticism, just information may want to have . Great location and easy walk to beach. Seemed very safe and secure. Beach was absolutely beautiful but unless chose to rent chairs you must walk quite a distance to find family friendly spot to set up. Property management company, Ocean Reef, was AMAZING! Would recommend this resort and would consider staying here again. Would highly recommend renting from Ocean Reef!

Comment: We stayed in one of the golf corse villas. We had a great rental company Realjoy. They were so eager to accommodate, our condo had some issues. The resort is beautiful and a great to walk and ride bikes. Pools are excellent as well. The golf course however is concerning, I don’t know if it’s bad golfers, or the golf course is poorly laid out. If you decide to stay on the golf course, be prepared for golf balls hitting your villa. We have a nice collection of golf balls, and we get whacked by a golf ball at least once a day. Makes it difficult to sit on the porch. The villas are a little rundown, but the price was right.

Comment: We stayed at 333 31c golf villas. It was perfect. We loved the balcony for lunch over looking the golf course. It was quiet and in complete shade. Love the parking is right outside. No fighting for a space. Short ride to beach parking lot or within walking distance. Ralph the owner was very nice and we would recommend his place for your next vacation!!

Comment: If you are looking for a centrally located resort in Destin I would highly recommend you checking this place out. Golf, tennis and beach with on-site restaurants and bars. You never have to leave the property to enjoy every minute on vacation. Check it out and you will be glad you did.

Comment: Had several problems with the room. (B200)Living room door to the balcony would not shut properly, commode in one of the bathrooms had to be repaired, no toilet paper in one of the bathrooms when we got there, before we left there was water running all out in the floor from the air unit. The view is great, and the kitchen was nice.

Comment: Loved it! Went here for my birthday getaway just to relax. The resort is beautiful. My room was cleaned and well kept. The beach was like a 5 minute walk from my room. The pool is year round. Very friendly concierge staff. Will be coming back!

Comment: Stayed in a golf villa (34, which is not in their directional signage up to villa 33; somewhat confusing). The villa condo was clean enough.. no hand soap, extra trash bags, or enough towels. Nice and quiet away from the main strip and large resort facilities. FREE tram to the beach front, called at will, super fast and friendly driver. Made not seeing the water from the room much easier to swallow.Didnt play golf, tennis, or any other resort amenities other than the nice and calm pool.Clean grounds throughout. Would definitely return and recommend!

Comment: This is the perfect spot to simply relax. I rented the chairs and umbrella, they set it up, and I watch the water! The sun beamed onto my skin while I sipped the best Margaritas I have had in some time. And there had to be every flavor you can think. Sand was white and soft like powder. It did not stick like sand on Hutchinson Island, FL. If your looking for easy, relaxed, and still eventful, then be sure to visit Seascape. You will love it!

Comment: The 2 bedroom was spacious enough for 3 adults and 2 children with the bunk bed room. The views were great and you didnt have to drive far for anything. Only issue was there seemed to be a lot rules. But considering people live there year round that should be expected. Everyone was very friendly who lived there. So you didnt feel like you were disturbing the residents who lived there.

Comment: The beach was gorgeous. White sands. Crystal blue water. Rental chairs were expensive $40/day. Whales Tale bar was right there and fortunately we had a wristband to use the bathroom otherwise you had to buy overpriced drinks or food to use. Otherwise I have no idea where, outside the ocean, to send the family for bathroom needs. Never saw a life guard and police only once. All in all no issues.

That isnt something you always experience at a crowded beach on a holiday weekend. Our accomodations were comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. Really, what more can you ask for?

Comment: This was the one of the most fun vacations Ive had in Florida. This place was fantastic to stay in with a great view and many amenities that I made use of. The workout room and the pool were fantastic and the area was close to many other places that were easy to walk to. Would definitely recommend staying here and will hopefully visit again.

The inside was nice but could really use a good bite of maintenance. We called about fixing the ceiling fan that didnt work and no one came. But we are for certain come back next year.

Comment: Decent location, not too far from the beach. Golf course is ok, Im not an avid golfer, so it was fun, not too challenging. Overall things could use updates. Pretty sure the tile floors didnt get steam mopped before we arrived as there was black residue on everyones feet the very first night and every day after. Unit needed a dehumidifier, there was condensation dropping from the vents in the ceiling. Would have given 5 🌟 if not for the dirty floors and condensation issues.

Comment: Let me just say, Ive stayed here every summer for 10 years. Okay, any and every unit we have rented at either Ariel Dunes I or II has been phenomenal. The pools are large and clean, good access to the beach, and I LOVE Cabana Cafe. (Try the southern lunches M-F till 3, or Sunday brunch bar). I mean theres a reason we keep coming back.Now, this summer I really wanted to bring my dogs, and the only options for pet friendly are the golf or lakeside villas. (Owners can have pets at the dunes, just not guests) Not the nice new modern style of the Ariel dunes but hey, older places have charm right? Our first unit Lakeside 227 was so bad we were moved. The property management team seemed very aware that the owners of this unit do not want to pay to keep it updated. It was literally like walking into the 70s, but even if you dont want to update it, DO BASIC MAINTENANCE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. Everything was broken, leaking, and absolutely filthy. Plenty of roaches (dead and alive) found in this unit, it was a nightmare. The unit we moved to was better, until we woke up to no running water.Bottom line, Ariel dunes and majestic sun are nice enough to keep my opinion positive. But these villas are a whole other story. Ive gotten the vibe that most are lived in by older folks probably enjoying a quiet life by the beach, but the ones that are being rented out really need to be adressed for basic upkeeping of appliances and whatnot. I shouldnt be charged full price for units that the owners dont want to pay to keep nice.

Comment: We own in Ariel Dunes 2. Great view of the sunset although its about a quarter mile from the beach. Sunlight in the evenings and nice workout room. No hottub or accessible tennis courts though. Key entry on all the doors is nice.

Comment: We had an issue with our cards working but eventually sorted it out. we had a non smoking room but it reeked of smoke and we couldnt change because they were booked. overall it was a good location, access to the beach, close to grocery store and liquor store.
