Comment: Wonderful course! A must play. The course record for the most balls hit into the water is held by former Wisconsinite, Keith Merkatoris who lost an amazing 27 balls in one outing. Merkatoris states I think I am going to need to regrip my ball retriever. I may need to bring my fishing pole, next time.

Comment: Beautiful course, no houses, all nature, friendly staff super helpful. They get another five stars..The greens are the old school Grass that balls can actually stick to. Couple birdies 👍🤙fun day to hang. Will definitely be playing here again. Oh yeah and better play fairway golf or bring a stock of balls my partner lost some due to how much nature there is

Comment: Raptor Bay is highly under-rated. This is an awesome golf course. Plenty of room off the tee with very challenging approach shots. A little like Pinehurst #2. We played the tips and there are some pretty intimidating tee shots. Ray Floyd did a great job on the design, the course was in great shape, and we had a great time!

Comment: 4 stars for the layout of the course, general condition, playability, and availability in and out of season. This is a fun course with very challenging holes and many sets of tee boxes. My only negative remark concerns pace of play. They have some rangers but seem to accept that itll be slow on weekends. They need to do their jobs and speed slower players up. Its the responsibility of the course to ensure we can all play in a reasonable time. Other than that, the facilities are good, very nice range and short game area for warm up, and again, the course is fun to play.

Comment: Good course. We (10-12 handicaps) teed at 8:15 on MLK day and played in 3:40. Course is a challenge - don’t be fooled by 6400 yds. There are some meaty holes and trouble just off every fairway. Greens are in good enough shape. We suggest bringing a few extra balls. Small item: if playing early, bring some water and a towel to dry cart seats and clean your stuff as none are provided. Nice employees.

Comment: We had a great afternoon here. Starter Steve got us off on Hawk #1 with helpful, detailed instructions. We played in the afternoon, so the fairways, tee boxes and greens were a little worse for wear and tear but the conditions were still above average. We played this course a few years ago when it was brand new it was extremely difficult for many reasons. This time around we commented on how much more playable it was. We got a great rate, the pace was perfect and well definitely play here again.

Comment: I was a first timer. My first impression was the pro shop. The gentleman was very friendly and we received free hats for playing. We then proceeded to the driving range and hit balls, at no additional charge. The starter had quite the sense of humor. He got us out before our tee time and Im front of a foursome (we were a twosome). Pace of play was great. We played in less than four hours.The greens had recently been areated so it wasnt the true test of the greens. The course was in great shape. The alligator was huge.More than anything else, the staff was extra friendly. They went out of their way to make the day perfect. If they could have changed my score, it would have been picture perfect.I definitely recommend Raptor Bay Golf Course.

Comment: Challenging for the mid handicapped, but not beyond taming. The wild life is awesome, gators are there, and you can hear them clearly grunting in the ponds. I have also have seen a Coyote, numerous wading birds hawks etc. Pretty sure I heard a wild bore rummaging around in the undergrowth one time.The only criticism and its a small one, greens could be faster, that said they did look like they had been spiked recently.If I could star rate it more precisely I would rate it around 4.5 star.

Comment: OK, I am normally a 10 handicap and often play at resorts. The course design is strong. You have to play it more than a few times to learn layout. The greens are complex and fun. No homes around the course, so it plays more natural. I am surprised by the other reviews indicating poor condition. What do you expect in February. I thought it was descent condition for the time of year. I will play again any time. Challenging, fun, beautiful. Nice staff.

Comment: Raptor Bay Golf Club is a great 18 hole course made of two nine hole routes; the Hawk and the Osprey. It is set in wonderful natural geography and is quite challenging. It is part of the Hyatt resort and at this time of year quite pricey. Well worth the experience.

Comment: We had a blast playing the course this morning. The condition of the course was very nice, it must drain well because with all the rain lately it still wasnt very wet. It is a fairly short course with three par 3s on the front. We played the white tees before realizing half way through that it was only 5300 yards. if youre looking around 6k like I normally do, then the blues would be for you. Very playable course only lost a few balls but that was due to my own missed shots. Booked online via their website for $39 per player, which is an absolute steal considering this is probably a $200 round during season. Have played several times and will definitely be back.

Comment: The course was in great shape. We enjoyed the round. Staff was friendly but it is not the kinda place where you drive the cart to the parking lot to load your clubs. We got scolded by the one of the staff members. I guess we cut into their tip. Starter was great and told us a lot of good things about the course. I would definitely play again. Just take your clubs to the bag drop.

Comment: Enjoyed a round with friends yesterday on a bloody hot July day for a great rate. Course was absolutely stunning aesthetically. Gift shop had some very nice items for sale. Only negative was there was no warning that the snack stand would button up shop in the middle of the round, so as we came around the turn we had no other option than stopping in to the clubhouse to have lunch as opposed to picking something up at the window on the turn.

Comment: Very nice golf course in all areas. There are def some better ones to choose from but worth the visit for sure. The staff was awesome, the starter very informative and helpful. Would def return.

Comment: Very well managed, friendly staff. Greens were extremely fast, and recently aerated, but that’s the only negative remark. Fairways are long and narrow with a good amount of hazards. Definitely will be back!

Comment: We come to Sanibel every summer and try and find different tracks to play each time. I really enjoyed playing this course and found it challenging but very user friendly. The views are great and the housing areas arent even visible from the course. The staff was great, plenty of ice and water and drinks and snacks. Good day. Would definitely recommend it.

Comment: Amazingly beautiful course. Will golf at again. Not many course complaints just a little fast but not to bad. We did get really backed up after the back 9 on 10,11, which was unnecessary. But all in all a nice beautiful course. I highly recommend this course.

Comment: Ive played here 11th of May 2018. The place was well booked and the pace was 3:40h. We were a group of 3 and had no waiting at all.Nice and helpful staff. Great and stunning course. Fairways like carpets. Very challenging. Fair rolling greens.If you are fair to yourself and select the right tees, you will enjoy it. Black tees are far from fairway and really hard.Tee suggestion:HCP below 18 can play blue tees or black for scratch golfersHCP 18- 27 should play white tees

Comment: Very nice course. Although it was quite an easy driving course, the wind and elevated greens made it for a challenging experience. Greens were in good shape, a little slow though. All in all, great course and I will return when I come back to the area.
