Comment: I purchased a bag set of Powerbuilt clubs For women. I absolutely loved my club set. At about the 6 month point I was golfing and the head came off my driver on the fairway. I took the club back to the store where they filed a warranty claim. In the mean time I purchased a driver off the floor same brand but not the same club that broke. I was very upset that my club broke but was happy as I thought I was getting the same replacement. Unfortunately the company changed the club shaft. I called the service counter and talked with Demetri he suggested I come up and try some clubs and different shafts. I did and they just didn’t have feel of my club that broke. Needless to say I was so disappointed. After working with Demetri he said I have a plan just give me me a day or two. Demetri was able to put my driver head back on the shaft and it was amazing. I was so happy to have my driver back. 1st time back on the course I drove 195 yards, put the ball in the green right next to the flag and tapped it in for an eagle. I had a birdie, Par and eagle all in a row.I am extremely happy with the customer service that was provided to me By Demetri. I stopped in today and thanked him again for the awesome customer service! Thank you for going above and beyond to get me my club back. Thank you so much…

Comment: I have been using the PGA Superstore for several years for apparel and golf balls.I decided to finally rid myself of my “ over the top “ golf swing.I selected Jay Hartley and he produced a miracle. With only two (2) lessons the over the top swing has been irradiated from my swing. I even decided to accept his suggestion after careful deliberation with Brian Higgins, (Studio Fitting Specialist ). I purchased clubs to include irons and rescue clubs with specific shafts and grips.Joe Nanthavong, Area Manager, was extremely professional and guided me through the process.I was so impressed, I even brought my wife to see Jay Hartley. Comment: Ive had some issues at the repair/maintenance counter - the customer service/assistance you get can be hit or miss, but labor is underqualified/tough these days no matter the industry or store. I am leaving a review to tell people to exercise patience and still enjoy the store. The selection is great and the couple times Ive had an issue with something like a misplaced order, they have been very helpful and accommodating - Bridget Zuri their General Manager was great to work with.

Comment: I had a lesson with Jay Shartley and with in minutes he showed me where we needed to correct the swing. He explains the swing very clearly. I felt I walked away knowing what I need to practice but also what I should be thinking about to get the feel that will transfer to the course. Look forward to some lessons to really drive this home.I also liked that he understands the fitness side and has a ton of experience with teaching golf and other sports.

This location didn’t have, but Jeremy helped me find online and order with the in-store marked down price. All the staff was friendly and really helpful. Even tho the store was kind of busy. I was treated kindly.Also the sale rack in the back is wonderful!!! Great deals/bargains.EDIT: Visiting a year later some new staff some the same. The employees here are still amazing. Bridget helped me. I love how above and beyond everyone is here. Not pushy sales people. Very friendly and chill. Want to make the customer happy.

Comment: Revising this review. I was originally extremely disappointed with the outcome of my custom club purchase. I was originally told they would come in 2-3 weeks but due to back orders they won’t arrive for 26 weeks (which is not typical in most cases). As a customer I understand this is out of the control of PGA as they are relying on Taylor Made to get the clubs in. What’s important is how the team at PGA responded and remedied the situation. Bridget, the manager, reached out directly to offer several other options so that I could get on the course immediately. She displayed outstanding customer service and went above and beyond to try to help. As a customer, I really value her desire to help every customer and because of that I am revising my review to 5 stars. Honesty and transparency goes a long way and that was certainly displayed here. Other than the clubs not coming in a reasonable time, John who fitted me and Bridget provided me a great experience all around. Kudos to them for making this situation better.

I feel like they should have had a warning sign that says that they hit golf balls in there because someone such as myself that goes in there, would not expect to hear a loud bang when it hits the outer wall. And I got startled a few times! Other than that I really enjoyed the store they had a lot of tennis shoes that some stores that arent just golf stores dont have so their tennis shoe selection is very large. There close for men women and children was large. And everything was very color coordinated to look very nice.

Comment: The PGA Superstore on University (Sarasota/Bradenton area) is awesome! They have incredible customer service. My son cracked the shaft on his driver and needed it replaced. They did an excellent job and regripped it for us, as well. This was 3 days before a tournament, and even though they were really busy, they had it done for us the next day! Not only in time for his tournament, but also in time for practice the day before. If you need golf club repair, regripping or any kind of service on your clubs, I would highly recommend the PGA Superstore. If its time to buy new ones, they have everything and do custom fittings. Also, they have a huge area with astroturf, setup like a practice putting green - fun to try out new putters. 5 stars.

Comment: I just wanted to drop a few lines to show my appreciation of how I was treated by this company. I recently took in my 3 iron for a shaft repair and the repair was made faster than I imagined. On top of that, I was told that if I wasnt satisfied with how it performed after the repair, bring it back and well figured something out performance wise. Well, I didnt like how it performed (no fault of the PGA store mind you) so I had a new shaft installed. Rudy help me by offering to change out the shaft into what I used throughout my irons (dynamic gold s300 metal shaft) and didnt even charge me for the repair. Thank you Rudy, Bob and the entire repair staff at the PGA store...Awesome customer service!

Met with Brian and Kyle who were great and set me up in the back practice booth with a variety of different iron brands and styles I wanted to try. They allowed me to swing different clubs, shaft types, and brands and PGA Superstore even has electronic swing data to determine the proper club fitting for you. After about 30-45 min, I settled on my favorite iron set and was out the door. Staff was helpful and friendly. Will be back for all my golf needs and recommend this golfer paradise to anyone.

Comment: Shopped for a new set of irons last week. Been playing Callaway Apex cf16s for a few years but swing speed has slowed (getting old) and distances were inconsistent.I spent about a half hour with Taz, one of their fitters. He suggested I return with my 7 iron and hit a few different clubs. So, i did. They had a special on trade ins on Mavrik and Sim by Taylor Made. I gravitated towards the Mavrik pro, because it looked very much like my Apex. Long story, short, Taz recommended the regular Mavrik, reg flex graphite. Hit several shots with all the clubs but the difference was remarkable, as I picked up from 150 with the 7 iron to 165-170- with the Mavrik 7 and as you might imagine, very forgiving.I spent time with Taz and then the General Manager Bridget Zuri, who assisted me with the trade value of my clubs.If you want to deal with Pros, in every sense of the word, Go to PGA Tour Superstore. Thet GET IT!

The size of the store is impressive, the staff is knowledgable and friendly, the merchandise selection vast. This is not just a store, its an experience.
