Comment: Seen some reviews on this course and needed to set it straight. Played there yesterday Sunday Jan 22/23. Great, staff was friendly, was paired up with Mark who has never played there before either. Loved the design of the course. Played 18 holes never was there a need to roll the ball for a good lie. Great greens, consistent and great speed. Will play again when back In the area. Oh and by the way I have owned and operated a golf course for 35 years. Great job condos to the superintendent and his staff.Michael

The staff have great attitudes and are there for you. Kyle is the ultimate golf club manager. Low HOA includes 24/7 manned gatehouse, water and sewer. Located in the Country minutes from I-95 and 15 minutes from Vero Beach or Ft Pierce.

Comment: I played here June 5, 2021 9:56 tee-timeDriving Range— (Bermuda grass)On the driving range you hit into a grass field, not water. The range was organized, with raised target greens and multicolored flags. The range is well cared for and the tee-line had a good amount of healthy grass with no patches of brown or dying grass. The Range is in close proximity to the pro shop.Practice Green— (CHAMPION® GQ perennial ryegrass)The practice green was in excellent shape. The grass was healthy, green and the practice green showed no brown spots or signs of mold or dying grass. Every hole on the practice green rolled true and consistent as the previous. It is also in close proximity to the Driving Range and Pro Shop.Staff—The pro shop staff were friendly, informative, helpful and accommodating. I did not visit the restaurant upstairs so cant speak to the staff/ service there.Front 9 (Out)—Tee Boxes:The tee boxes were not crowned, did not have bare spots, or dying grass and allowed the golfer to take a firm, steady stance. The tee boxes were wide long and offered many choices of where to tee a ball depending on the strength or health of your game. (This would be a good course to play Heaven or Hell golf game on)Fairways:The fairways on the front 9 nine holes were also Bermuda grass. They were all in good to excellent shape. Fairways were all well maintained, allowed the ball to sit-up, did not contain bare, dry or sandy patches and as well allowed the golfer to maintain a firm, steady stance throughout the swing. It rained fairly heavily for twenty minutes after we reached the 5th hole. The fairways drained well, and both the fairways and greens held small pools of casual water for about 30 minutes after the rain.Greens:The greens, also Champion rye grass, were in excellent shape, all rolled consistently and were challenging. The pin placements were fair allowing a golfer to attack without too much risk when choosing to do so.Rough:The rough was grassy and not full of weeds. It was not overly thick or menacing and allowed a golfer a good chance to not only find their ball but also escape back into the fairway, if he/she wasnt behind one of the many trees that border the fairways. (Nice to see a lot of trees).Back 9 (In)— Same review as Front 9ISSUES:Bunkers— the only reason Meadowood doesnt garner 5 stars. The bunkers were extremely firm, not filled with enough sand and did not drain well at all. Although a ball can be played out of the bunkers it required a more experienced player to escape with good results.Aprons— the aprons around the greens were a bit of a mystery. The cut of the grass seemed to prevent a simple wedge shot from being executed smoothly (as per two single digit golfers in my foursome).OVERALL:Overall I would *definitely* return to Meadowood. It was fun, challenging and the layout allows you to be strategic or bold if you so choose. The course is scenic and at least for this golfer setup nicely to the eye. It is an undulating layout but not overly hilly. (Would like to walk it sometime). So if you like your golf courses green, lush, fun and challenging, I would highly recommend Meadowood Golf & Tennis Club for a round. Hit em straight.

High quality homes here are a bargain. Gated, secluded, clubhouse with restaurant, huge pool and tennis club! 15 min to Publix in Vero Beach. I can tell you, you will not be disappointed.

Comment: I really love this course. Its a real challenge to get a par on most holes. Its long with every obstacle you can find on a golf course. I especially like the mature age of this course with fully grown trees that line most holes. Theres a lot of water, but fairly easy to stay out of if you can hit your ball where you aim... if not, then you will loose a lot of balls here. I have played this course many times because I enjoy it so much. There is one thing I was disappointed in, which was the shape of the greens. Several greens has some bad spots that need repairs, but not so bad that they arent playable. Normally, when I have played there the greens were excellent, not this time.

It is a beautiful neighborhood wrapped around a very nice course. This was our fourth round of the week in the Vero area and the greens were far away the best we played on. Each hole was beautiful even though they were surrounded by homes. Never once felt hemmed in by the housing. Will defintely play here again!

The course is great, prices are fair, its a semi-private course, staff are excellent and directions are incredibly easy to navigate. While working there as a bag boy Ive only heard great things from players. Ive also played the course many times and absolutely love it. The greens are new. Take it from me, this place is great!
