Comment: Played here yesterday. Quality course and very different to many other courses in north Florida. Greens were in excellent shape just extremely slow. Pace of play was great. I wish I lived closer. If you are thinking of playing here just book a tee time. You will not be disappointed. I did not think the course was challenging. To me it is clear where to play your ball at all times. Just wish the greens were rolled. I will be back and I will bring my friends and family.

Comment: Played the course today and a few times over the last couple weeks. Aside from all the rain (out of their control), the course is in great shape. The greens are getting really nice as well. Cost for the course is right on par, but what really makes it great for me is the staff… Super friendly and accommodating. Also, check out The Pub, food is great with big portions!

Comment: We love the clubhouse. We always feel welcome and party of the family here. My favorite activity is swimming with the kids and then sitting outside downstairs with a couple of drinks and apps while they play in the sand.

Comment: My husband and I played 18 holes at this course last month. While we were there my husband misplaced his oakley prescription glasses and truly thought we lost them for good. After circling the course multiple times and checking with the pro shop we concluded that they were lost. Two weeks after returning to Michigan staff called my husband saying they located the glasses and would ship them directly to us. I cannot say enough good things about this course and the staff they have!!! Thank you 100 times over for going above and beyond for helping us.

Comment: Hard to beat the golf course for the price. Greens in good shape right now, fairways and rough growing back in after the winter pretty well, though still a few bare patches - just roll to the nearest grassy spot, this aint the PGA tour. Staff has been friendly and helpful. One of my favorite course designs in the area with some nice elevation change, which is nice in this area of mostly flat land.

Comment: Love this Golf and Country Club!!! The golf course is beautiful and fun to play. The food in the club house/Crystal dining room is amazing. We enjoy breakfast on Sundays. It is also a beautiful affordable wedding venue. Yes, the course is a work in progress with broken golf cart paths and sandy soil, but the fees are low and the owners are improving these issues. A community treasure.

Comment: Magnolia Point Golf and Country club hosted my wife’s birthday party. It was a wonderful experience working with Deneen Barrett-Rothfels to plan the party. All the details were handled professionally and there was even a person to help us with the party. The taco bar was really good and the drinks were perfect! We had a blast and it was made possible by the staff. If you are thinking of having an event at Magnolia Point do it! They are amazing!

Comment: It was a nice course down in green cove. Inexpensive and the greens were very nice but quite slow. There were a few roughs patches but overall good condition. Some cart path were just roots and dirt though and on the last hole there was a man mowing in the middle of play which was annoying.

Comment: Nice Golf course which I will certainly play a couple of times if I am in the area. I had an early morning Tee time and loved to see the beverage cart on the move early on. Excellent value for money. My only issue is that the greens are rather slow, which the course supervisors may want to look.

Comment: Great club. Open to the public. Golf course is worth a round or two. Nice and affordable. Then stop at the pub where you can sample everything from fish n chips to the adult grilled cheese. It has a few more bells and whistles than your grandmas grilled cheese. All the staff at both the golf course and the country club are friendly and helpful. Nice way to spend an afternoon. I highly recommend Magnolia Point Gold and Country Club.

Comment: Awesome course why you say change in elevation and the dog legs what makes the course. The greens need work not very consistent. You have to play this course more than once to get the feel. This is a course you just dont bomb away from the tee box you actually have to plan out your shots for the best results.

Comment: Love this place. My family played golf and had lunch. New golf carts, beautiful greens, and very reasonable. Perfect afternoon to spend with family and still social distance. I recommend the hamburger basket and homemade chips. Dinner is available in the Crystal Dining room and lunch in the Pub with entertainment on Fridays. Sunday mornings they offer breakfast and unlimited mimosas/bloody marys for $8. Yah!

Comment: First visit there. Performed at The Pub. Great little hot spot. Several friends that we didnt know frequented the place. Made a lot of new friends! Really fun time with terrific feedback. Hoping to perform there again. The menu was fantastic and the prices were quite reasonable. Didnt have the time to eat but saw several plates come out. Portions excellent. Everyone said it was superb. Golf course is probably the most beautiful I have ever seen.

Comment: Kudos to Magnolia Point for a great Memorial Day celebration. The staff was on top of everything. Its a shame someone called our GM racist because some black kids who do not live here were asked to leave. Other people were not asked because they were recognized as being members and or residents of the community. This is not a public pool.

Comment: Best place for a wedding!! My wife and I fell in love with the place as soon as we arrived! The wedding ceremony area is a beautiful outdoor garden with a pergola. You can just imagine the ceremony when you see it. The reception area was beautiful and classy. All our vendors were wowd by it as soon as they walked in. Deneen and her husband are the a real treat to work with. They accommodated us in every way possible. She helped us coordinate our wedding to the last detail and was a tremendous help in setting everything up to look beautiful for us. Her husband took care of set up as well and even brought us a screen from home to display our photos! The food was amazing. The chef is very talented and our portions were substantial. The wait staff is very friendly and professional. All of our guests raved about our ceremony and reception. This is the perfect venue to host your wedding!!

Comment: I absolutely loved this course. It is a very forgiving course with wide fairways and very little water. Great for golfers who are looking to build some confidence. Greens were super slow, but other than that it’s a beautiful course that takes you all throughout the neighborhood....which is also very beautiful. Never knew Green Cove had something like this! Comment: Me and my husband had our wedding here back in May 2015. This venue was so perfect. With this venue we received an event coordinator (no extra charge), Cindy and she was absolutely amazing! I only found out about any issues after she already solved them. They recommended DJ Ronnie who did a great job helping us have music for both the ceremony and the reception. If I could do this over again I would still choose Magnolia Point. Im happy that such an important day turned out so well! Thanks again!
