Comment: Amazing to say the least. Been a member for 11 years and absolutely love the new club experience! The community is alive and vibrant, a real golf club within the country club experience. Course is in great condition, with constant improvements. GM and pro-shop are exceptional with attention to detail. Lessons with any of the pros from kids to seniors is catered to improving their game. The food selections change daily led by a best-in-class chief! Id give it 10 stars!!!

Comment: Love at first swing. I had an amazing day on this golf course. First time there and the whole place is,amazing. The level of courtesy is astounding. This golf course has a,little bit for everyone. It is challenging and rewarding. It can be easy or challenging in matter of minutes as the wind changes direction. My biggest joy comes from the human interaction. Every single perdon I ran into, from ground keepers to pro shop, to members was so friendly. Simply impressive.

Comment: I live in Lago Mar Golf community and started to play golf a few months ago. I played golf for a while years ago but the best my handicap then was a 5 handicap. At that time I felt I was a fair golfer. I have lived here for more than 30 years and just back to playing 2 months ago. My handicap is now +4.5 my average round is 67. I have shot only 43 rounds in more than 20+ years. I believe that my ability comes from working out 50 years ago. I have never taken a lesson. I still remain fairly strong giving me the ability to hit the ball fairly long. My handicap was 12 on 3-31-2021 and has gotten better as I continue to play. Hopefully I will be able to continue to play. I have not played in any tournaments yet. I do plan to play in some in a while. My handicap is a +10.6 which means that I shoot an average round of 60.4 for the last 20 rounds.

Comment: Beautiful golf course. Very well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. Nice grass driving, chipping and putting range. Water is what makes this course a challenge. There food is great they often offer specials and a great selection. Because this is a private course you will find most golfers are more courteous and aware of other golfers. I can’t play this course enough.

Comment: I joined this Club in Nov 2020. I have been a member at several other clubs in my golfing lifetime. Lago Mar is by far the friendliest golf club I have ever been associated with. The staff is very professional and put their members first. I recommend this challenging course to anyone at any handicap.

Comment: The course is only half the story. I agree its in fantastic condition and challenging but the vibe at the outdoor grill area was fantastic. It was easy for me as a single to find a couple guys to play with and then have a great burger and cold beer with a fun group. They were so inviting that I was there for 3 hours before I realized I had somewhere else to be.Try it youll love it!!

Comment: Im a single digit golfer and was visiting from another country club and i really enjoyed the layout of this course. Lots of dog legs and water comes into play on many of holes, especially for aggressive lines. Greens have a good amount of character and movement, easy to misread subtle undulations. Only reason i didnt give 5 stars... Greens looked to be punched about 5-6 weeks ago so not super smooth yet but rolled pretty well, and i believe die to the rain half of the fairways were a little shaggy... but the course was great as well as the staff. I would love to come back and play again!

Comment: This was the location for several of our Companys Holiday Parties. I cant really speak to anything beyond the banquet food and service and accommodations, but for what it is worth it was all very good. The food is well above average for a place like this and the service was also above average. The decor is great and the place has an overall romantic old world feel to it. I would definitely recommend it for a gathering or event. As I have stated in other reviews, the reason that I did not give it 5 stars is two fold: First is that only the best of the best deserve five stars. The 2nd reason is that you cant give half stars or any other portion or fraction of a star. If that was an option I would of given this place something between 4.25 and 4.50 stars.

From looking for the right dress to what your guests are going to eat during the reception, every detail counts and there are so many details! As soon as the magical moment happened, I started doing research on venues and requesting information. From pricing to what was included to the perks included, none of them seemed to be us. Then we came across Lago Mar Country Club and decided we should check it out. We hadn’t heard of it before but from our initial call, we got a good feeling. Upon arrival, we met the sweetest, most bubbly and caring person we could’ve met… Debbie! She showed us around, showed us pictures, talked through packages and from day 1 always had our best interest in mind. When we left, I knew that was it and a week later we put down the deposit. I don’t have the words to express how grateful I am to Debbie and her staff who just are absolutely wonderful! They all worked so hard to make sure that everything was is in the right order and every detail perfect down to the bow on the chairs. Throughout the entire process, the Lago Mar Country Club staff had our best interest in mind to making our experience an unforgettable one. And that is was. I am grateful to have had the wedding at Lago Mar Country Club. Overall, the people, the venue, the scenery and the staff made the wedding of my dreams come true. All of our guests had a wonderful experience as well and it will be a night never forgotten. Lago Mar Country Club is definitely at the top of our list for all future events. Simply stated, Lago Mar Country Club (and definitely Debbie and Nivio), thank you for everything you did!
