Comment: I played here on March 9th and had myself a 7:00 A.M. tee time I dont remember the starters name but he was fantastic it was my first time playing there and had no clue where I was going as I wasnt hooked up with anyone he explained every hole in detail, everyone from the guy in the proshop to the maintenance workers were great and the course.....WOW what a great track meticulously manicured and maintained I was the first one off in the morning and was done in 2 hours, Play it if you can

I lost my putter head-cover on the back 9 and the crew was so cool- insisted I take a cart and scour the course until I found it (had just purchased it the day before!). Nice pro shop and reasonable greens fees, I have a condo in Venice so I will be back to play for sure.

Comment: Jacaranda has transformed over the last few years to become one of the best area courses that is accessible to the public. Playing in the off season usually means thin rough & fairways but the conditions this year due to an overhaul two years ago are outstanding. Greens roll consistently quick even though they are slightly taller due to our seasonal heat. New signage has been installed at tees and rope barriers placed to keep drivers from damaging portions under repair. A new policy to improve pace of play has been adapted with rangers displaying flags in a variety of colors to warn. Credit is due to the staff & crew for the improvement & direction the club has gone.

Food was good, and literally within 3 minutes of walking in the bar area at the turn the server was in the kitchen asking them to hurry my order, and someone who appeared to be the boss also asked if I had been helped and was just making sure as he was ready to if I hadnt been. I found that to be quite impressive. Very well ran, pleasant folks, and a great course! I will definitely recommend this place to everyone👍👍..

Comment: I decided to rewrite my review after giving the course another chance. We played 18 holes today and the pace of play was great. The course was in nice shape even tough they had 6 inches of rain yesterday.The course is in great shape and only a couple of greens are being fixed, other then that I feel the course is a bargain for the seasonal rates.We are staying in North Port and this is going to be our regular course we plan on playing once a week for a long as we are down here for the winter months.The bag guys, pro shop and course maintenance folks have been great. We did have an issue with slow play last Tuesday, but we later learned that Tuesday is a member day and would be better if we played after noon.All in all, this is a nice course for the money and we are looking forward to playing it again next week. The fairways were lush & green and the greens were in good shape with a few exceptions. The staff was friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a good lunch in the dining area after our round of golf. Comment: Just had brunch here and was VERY impressed with the entire dining experience overall. Prime Rib and Shrimp were out of this world and so was everything else. The whole place is as clean as a whistle. The view of the Golf Course is spectacular. Waitresses were efficient, polite and friendly as were all other employees including the extraordinary manager Mark Gallant. Beautiful building and well kept grounds add to the elegance. This is quite possibly the best kept secret restaurant in the Venice (Sarasota) area. Guaranteed you will get your moneys worth at this terrific spot. Highest recommendation!

Comment: Grew up on this course and know the back nine like the back of my hand! Beautifully kept and still challenging although the back nine is missing a few bunkers . You wont be disappointed and have always found the former and current staff to be generous, courteous and helpful. Always happy to play it when Im in town.
