After looking at venue after venue that didn’t match what we envisioned, Isla del Sol was the last venue we looked at and we knew instantly that it was perfect. Between the private beach, access to the clubhouse the entire day, being the only wedding at the venue during the weekend and the option for s’mores on the beach afterwards, we knew we had found the perfect venue.During the planning process Melissa was always quick to answer our many questions. It was obvious she had experience putting on picture perfect weddings. In addition to her experience though, she was so sweet and made sure that everything was personalized to our vision. All of the vendors we selected were from her recommended list and we couldn’t have been happier with them.We had heard how amazing the food was at Isla del Sol, but when we went for our tasting it still beat our expectations. It was hard to narrow down to the final menu from the delicious food we tried. We know we made the right decision as all of our guest comments on how delicious the food was – everything from the hors doeuvres through dinner. The staff at Isla was always going the extra mile as well – between ensuring as bride and groom we had choice drinks as soon as we sat down, accommodating dietary restrictions, hors doeuvres at our seats before dinner, all the way to ensuring I had my signature drink down on the beach for s’mores!We not only had a picture perfect day for the wedding, but the most fun we have ever had. It was the perfect venue to celebrate with our friends and family. Thank you to Melissa and the entire team at Isla del Sol for the memories that will last a lifetime!

Their tennis and pickle ball courts are top-notch and in great shape.I didnt golf or utilize the marina. However, I got to say, Id compare it to Floridas very own slice of the Running Y (course out in Southern Oregon).Before watching the sunset on St.Pete Beach, get in a few rounds at the range and crush some relatives/ friends in pickle ball.

Comment: Wow I can’t say enough great things about Melissa and the team at Isla del Sol. Not only was the venue just beautiful but they took care of EVERYTHING and it was the easiest process to plan. I am an out of town bride, so having an all-inclusive venue was super important to me. Isla del sol takes care of everything from ceremony, to tables/linens to dining, to food and alcohol and a full team of staff. The food was amazing. The venue and atmosphere were everything I could have dreamed. Melissa and the staff are the most friendly and welcoming individuals. Melissa is so on top of it, super quick to respond, stayed in touch during our long year & half engagement, and worked with us to schedule any tours/tastings around the dates we were in town. One of the best parts, is that you will be the ONLY bride during your wedding weekend. We were able to do rehearsal the night before and the day of had the entire bridal suite and groom suite to ourselves and could enter any time we wanted. We also brought all the décor the night before, so it made it so much easier the day of. I would recommend Isla del Sol to anyone who ever wants to get married in the St Pete area. They made my wedding better than I could have even dreamed.

Comment: Was there for a wedding. Beautiful gazebo for the ceremony. Chairs were wooden, old, run down and some wrungs were broken. Waited for the chairs to collapse. Not enough bar tenders. Line was long. Bottom shelf brands but that is usual at a wedding. Appetizers were perfect. Servers were available with variety of trays full of different selections. Dinner was absolutely delicious. Served hot and by gloved servers. Dessert selections were more than adequate and all satisfied the sweet tooth. Music was good but too loud, which is the norm at a wedding. Could not hear the person next to me talk. There was no signage for where to park for the wedding and we made a number of wrong turns. They should have posted signs the pointed the way to the wedding venue. Parking was available on the premises.

From the getting ready areas and simmering lighting on the grand stair case for portraits to the white sand and palm trees blowing in the breeze behind our ceremony, to the ballroom overlooking the water and the marina at sunset, the venue itself was just a dream. The natural beauty of the venue was made even better by the staff! Melissa and her assistants helped us through various stages of planning, vendor recommendations, tastings, and everything in between. The food was delicious and we had so many compliments! Drinks were flowing all night, and everyone had a blast. Our day literally went off without a hitch! Not one single thing went wrong and that is thanks to the hard work of the Isla staff and all of our vendors.My husbands family have been members for decades and he actually proposed to me in the gazebo under the guise of going to dinner at the clubhouse so getting married there was a no brainer! It was made even better when we toured the property with Melissa and booked the venue. The whole process was seamless and Melissa was there every step of the way explaining the process and helping soothe a somewhat anxious and type A bride. Thank you Melissa and Team!!!

Melissa, the wedding coordinator, separates herself from the other coordinators in the area in an unbelievable way. Isla is the most beautiful venue, has the most wonderful and top notch staff, and Melissa is the best there is. We had planned to get married outside by the Gazebo but after unexpected rain we had to move the wedding inside. It was absolutely PERFECT inside, as well. Melissa and the Isla staff helped with a seamless transition and communicating difficult news to a hopeful bride and groom - they made it absolutely beautiful. We are forever grateful.The process from start to finish with Isla was phenomenal - from our first visit (and meeting Melissa - we were sold instantly) to the food tasting, discussing table arrangements, day of details, vendor coordination, etc. - it was all seamless. When looking at all the different venues in the area, and aside from the beauty of Isla, there was no doubt in our mind that Melissa is a one-of-a-kind in this field.We would recommend this venue 10/10 to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxed location with wonderful staff that will help make your big day be magical and unforgettable!!

I love the country club, Dino is always so very kind and attentive. All of the employees have been extremely efficient and pleasant to us. We cannot say enough about these facilities.

She provided options and recommendations on every detail of the event - from the flow, schedule, vendors, food, linens, etc. Melissa led us through the entire planning process with ease. She was SO responsive and helped to coordinate all of the day-of details with our vendors.When the day finally came, everything went off without a hitch! Melissa orchestrated the entire day flawlessly and with such grace and agility - she was so calm, that it put us all at ease. Whenever I’d ask if something had arrived or had been done (i.e. did my mom give you the extra place cards, did my flower girl get her headpiece, did someone give you the tray for the bubbles) it had already been taken care of.The food at the venue is AMAZING! Our guests continue to rave about it and many said it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding.We love the staff, the food and the location so much that we also held our rehearsal dinner at Isla del Sol.What I love about this venue, in addition to its gorgeous facilities and setting, is that it’s very private. You have an intimate, private beach as your backdrop. It’s the perfect combination of tropical, classy, and elegant.I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Ahmed, who was our knight in shining armor the day of the event. He was so attentive to me and my husband during the wedding - refilling our drinks, making sure we ate, and just checking in to see if there is anything we needed.So, I know this is long, but I have so many great things to say about Isla del Sol, that I just had to share. Thank you Melissa, Ahmed, and the entire staff at Isla del Sol for making our day so magical!

Comment: While on vacation we stopped in to find out the pricing on places here. My grandparents were thoroughly impressed. The landscaping was on point even just after Hurricane Michael had grazed the area a day before. This community is well kept and gorgeous. We drove around the entire complex several times to get a feel for the size and space. I hope my grandparents choose this place to stay.

There is a beautiful golf course..Everything is first class.I cant understand the people who write reviews and they are published by Google and yet they have NOTHING to do with this club!!They dont sell fuel yet someone posted that they pumped diesel fuel into her friends wast(e) storage bin? Not here and certainly not by a club that doesnt even sell fuel!The maintenance person shuts off the water in the buildings.There is no female maintenance person on staff. There are NO residents! Clearly this review is not about this club. Get your facts straight.Another reviewer rated this club with one star because the police set up speed traps on the public highways in the area.Can we really take these seriously! What does this have to do with the club? Why does Google allow this?
