Comment: Absolutely love this course. Its very pristine, greens are phenomenal and the staff is a prime example of how golf courses should be staffed. Theyre so friendly and extremely helpful. Stop in the bar shes amazing and drinks are made perfect. The chef is killer. I suggest the spring rolls!! Never had anything like the ones here. Food is excellent!! I can give enough praise to everyone here and how spectacular the course is!!! This should be a must play on ur list of courses here.

Comment: Challenging course. Lots of water and bunkers. Real nice layout. Clubhouse is immaculate and great food selections. Beers pretty pricey, $28 for a 6 pack. Nice electric carts with GPS and Bluetooth speakers on them.

Comment: First time playing here. Nice course. short but water hazards make up for the difficulty. Only put 2 in water, not like my playing partner who’s a local said i would put 8 in. Most greens are small but speed is good. Starter was nice but the the guy in pro shop miserable. Wanting to buy the course logo ball and they only sell it in 3 ball sleeves for $7. So i said can only have one, thats all I need, and he said nope, you can have three with a dead response. Not like “sorry sir but we only sell it in a sleeve. Also it sucks you have to pay $6 toll to get on island to play. would be nice if they reimburse you since your supporting local business

Comment: Fantastic course. Very friendly staff and super courteous to my wife and 2 younger children. The kids were just along for the ride, which they allow for a small fee. To them, it was a nature experience! We saw more wildlife than most wildlife excursions. I think we counted 5 gators! Saved us a trip to the everglades!The golf course was in great shape. Pace of play was perfect. Especially for the busy season.The bartender gal even gave us some local pro tips on other area adventures to look into!Will be returning with my family again!

Comment: My son and I had a great few days golfing here in February. The course is short, but very challenging for a couple of beginners like us. Bring plenty of balls, not only for the vast amounts of water on every hole, but for also for the many large alligators you will encounter and may require relief from. All joking aside, there is abundant wildlife to view while taking in your rounds. In addition to the alligators, we viewed iguanas and many birds. The grounds are beautiful, and the staff at the club are very friendly and helpful. The food and tap beers at the restaurant are worth a stop as well.

Comment: Most miserable round of golf I’ve played in a decade. Unless you are a well above average golfer, enjoy sacrificing $40 worth of golf balls to the golf gods, or just don’t care then you’re likely to have a miserable round as well. But, alas, that’s not their fault. Course is beautiful and in great condition! Staff is very friendly! Interesting wildlife everywhere!

Comment: Went out after a 6 hour August rain storm, this was the only course we could find in the Fort Myers area that was still allowing play. The course was in excellent condition, only standing water was on the cart path, fairways immaculate, greens soft, yet speedy and true. Staff was great and the layout was challenging, but fair. I highly recommend the Dunes.

My meal was perfect and I believe that the Dunes Golf & Tennis Club has arguably the best Burger in all of Southwest Florida! Executive Chef Roro does an amazing job with every item on the menu, I just happened to have the Burger which was amazing!

Comment: I played this course 7 years ago when I first started golfing & I lost over a dozen balls & shot in the mid 90s. Today I shot an 83 and lost only 1 ball. I didnt remember too much about the course but it is in good condition.Not sure I will go back due to difficulty getting off Sanibel post round and the cost to play there.There are many courses in the Ft Myers that are in great condition for a lot less money.

Comment: I had a 1 hour private lesson ($85) and I wouldnt say that it was worth it, but still got some things out of it. The instructor was pretty tired from the day and really couldnt keep up that well with me (4.5-5 NTRP), but was still able to give me some feedback on my strokes to an extent. Got to play on one of their new Har-Tru courts which are always fun to play on, as I dont get to much in the northern region of the US. Overall good tennis facilities, I cant speak for the golfing.

The staff there is absolutely great the grounds are always kept in pristine conditions and the course is really upsetting to me! LOL! The reason I say this is because I am a novice golfer and it is super challenging but the people who might golf with are very supportive if youre ever down that way in the Fort Myers area Sanibel and you are a golfer you must play this course!

Comment: Great play, got away from #6inaworldmadefor4 for a few hours. Great shape, easy play if u let it be, but plenty of trouble. Starters are hawks, which is good for play speed, just be prepared so u dont get your undies in a bunch. Saw a little alligator and a bunch of lizards.

Comment: Weve had lunch here a few times this summer. Even though there arent very many in the main dining room, they are always very accommodating. And the food is excellent! We like the quiet atmosphere and the beautifully groomed golf course viewed from our table. Highly recommend!

Comment: Played here with my son while on vacation. He is a junior and played the #2 tees with no problem. Had a great round and lunch afterwards. Clubhouse is nice and newly remodeled. Course was in good shape and rates were cheap during the off season. Would come back. Just dont miss right or bring lots of balls. Water on every hole!

Comment: Solid course whose key advantage is convenience. The conditions are good, but clearly a little corner-cutting going on. Back tee box on 14 a perfect example. It’s the best box for challenging quality of layout, but it’s poorly maintained and the bushes in front have been allowed to overgrow. Not that many play it (210-220 forced carry), but no excuse to ignore it.Otherwise, classic resort course and pricing.

Comment: Greens aerated early August but playable by 8.19.17 and running about 9 on a Stimpmeter. Fairways were cut very short and the same for apron areas around the greens. Tight lies from fairways were very common as were areas under Repair.This course plays 5700 yards from the tips. Water is in play on every hole including some holes with more than 1 shot over water. Expect to lose several balls if your shot accuracy and consistency leave something to be desired.Staff is helpful and friendly. Carts do not have GPS. Flags have reflectors for laser rangefinder devices.The course is sited very close to the causeway to and from Sanibel, but there are no Bay views from the course and there are no Dunes. There are many well maintained sand traps.Pace of play in August is set by the skill of your group rather than by the number of golfers on the course. A ball lost in water here is unlikely to be found.

Comment: If you are visiting Sanibel or nearby, a nice golf course to play. Nice fairways and greens. A little tight on some holes but fun course.

Comment: Total blast! Course was lush with flowers and green grass. Impeccable greens with daunting water hazards. Lost more balls in one round than I did all season but I will definitely go back and redeem myself!⛳️👍

Comment: Great layout. The whole experience was special. Actually hit Big Dogg more than I would have expected. The Back 9 is superb, but the front aint too shabby either. Pro Shop was great and so was the Starter.

Comment: Wife loved course and service. Definitely a more challenging course with lots of water challenges. Saved money using discount coupon for multi-day play. Baileys store had lightly used balls for sale to augment lost balls in water. Alligators are on site so dont enter ponds to retrieve a ball!

Comment: Very challenging for the average golfer, but not overly punishing. If youre not accurate, play it safe or bring a bunch of balls. Friendly, helpful staff & great course conditions...the practice green was the most immaculate Ive ever seen & half the holes on back 9 could be a signature hole on other courses. Well be back to play it again...and again

Comment: This is a great little golf course. Front side offers lots of opportunities to score and the back is legitimately challenging. The whole place seems to be very well run. Played several times during peak season and always finished in about 4 hours or less. Lots of water. If you tend to hit is sideways, be prepared. We played with a couple of different guys who used up at least a dozen balls each. Regardless, everyone we played with really seemed to enjoy the layout.
