The ocean across the street and behind you.Its very nice!You have to go down Mandalay all the way to the end to get there. But st the same time its close! If that makes sense.I played a wedding cocktail hour three and it was very fun! The couokd got married on the beacjmh across the street and came over and have the cocktail outside and then the reception inside! Gorgeous!!

Comment: I pick up working shifts when Carlouel Yacht Club is in need of a prep cook, banquet server, or an extra body. I enjoy the 10-12 mile bike ride it takes for me to get there. I actually look forward to working here, when I can! When my shift is complete, I feel great, leaving with no stress, no drama, and ready for my hour ride home.The yacht club is so beautifully painted white with green, maintained grasses, a well-kept pool area, a small, outside bar, tennis courts by the intercoastal waters, and not to mention, wonderful plates of fresh, mouth-salivating entrees of your choosing that are prepared daily by great chefs and a superb kitchen staff. All of the staff members and management personnel, that Ive seen and met, are very welcoming, highly pleasant, super friendly, and always seem to be smiling. That, there alone, tells you a lot about how well and organized this business is.Most of the time when youre the new guy and start working in an unfamiliar, already established business, you walk in, receive strange, prejudged looks and can feel tension in the air, cutting right through you. You most definitely do not feel that at all at Carlouel. A great venue for a beach wedding, a themed event, or whatever it takes to gather some friends, to enjoy and share, together, a wonderful, unforgettable experience.Most of all, the meaning of the Carlouel name, to me, pulls it all together and is quite the story! That, you will have to discover on your own. (Hint: theres a beautiful portrait of three charming ladies hanging near the winding stairs.)

Comment: We threw a fun daddy daughter luau here. The team set up our space exactly as we requested. We had 210 dads and daughters dancing the night away. It was packed but so much fun. The dads and kids were very happy and eager for next year. I will say 200 is the max. We really pushed it with the 210. The food was great. Teriyaki chicken and coconut rice. ❤️❤️❤️

Comment: Carlouel Yacht Club is one of the Premier private Social Clubs you can belong to in the Clearwater area. The food at the restaurant is decent. The staff is wonderful. Theres lots of events for Children and Families. they have a pool and tennis courts and many times are is events going on on the beach where they have their own private access. The membership fee is not unreasonable, nor is the maintenance fee. The membership process is still a bit murky to me.

Comment: Everything about this place as a venue for a wedding is PERFECT! Kelley the wedding planner is beyond amazing and I do not know what we would have done without her! She is patient and kind and just amazing at what she does. The venue itself was gorgeous then with a little decoration it was made into our picture perfect wedding location! The day of the wedding Kelley handled everything for me, even down to last minute details. All I had to do was worry about getting ready. Kelley brought us lunch and champagne and set everything up just how I would wanted it without any direction! And lets talk about the room where myself, the mothers, and the bridesmaids got our hair and make-up done... GORGEOUS view and so much natural light it was amazing! I seriously cannot say enough good things about this venue. Food was amazing, location and the view are PERFECT, the layout is wonderful, and it is very affordable! LOVE LOVE LOVE Carlouel Yacht Club! Thank you to all the staff for making our day so perfect!
