Comment: We’ve had the privilege of enjoying nearly 12 years of membership at this gem of a club. With a respectful nod to Pro Joe and the previous leadership, BCC has catapulted to greatness under the dynamic leadership of Dave (GM), Brian (Golf), Ryan (Golf instruction), Morgan and all the golf staff. Expertly handling the social side are Marie and Nicole and tennis/pickleball is finally on our radar due to the excellent facilities and leadership there. After the recent “restovation”, I think the legendary Donald Ross would feel right at home walking his creation as he originally envisioned it. Every occasion we’ve celebrated here from showers to birthdays has been perfect and highly reviewed by our guests, but for me it’s all about the golf. To say the greens here are tricky is an understatement - they maintain them as fast and pure as any I’ve ever played when they want to, but keep them manageable for day to day play. Living course-adjacent, I look forward to my young boys having the opportunity to grow up playing and practicing every day as they learn to love and obsess over this great game as I have.

Comment: I just wanted to do a huge shoutout to the staff and members who I encountered during my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding celebration on April 23, 2021. Marie and Nicole were awesome with setup and during the celebration. My daughter and son-in-law were supposed to have this celebration last year but due to COVID, they had what I refer to as the COVID marriage on March 27th, 2020. We postponed the celebration until this past week.It was beautiful and the staff were so accommodating to all. Even the members who I encountered through the day were gracious and very positive, friendly as we were in their space constantly! The women members were gracious enough to give up their room for the day so the bridal party could get ready! A big thank you to those who ladies who understood and gave up their Friday activities they use that room for.The food was great!A lot of our guests had nothing but good comments about the venue. It was an amazing and stress free day thanks to Bradenton Country Club and the staff. Huge thank you for everything!!

Comment: Great Golf BUT cart policy needs review during COVID.A group of 8 of us played last week and upon arrival was told that if we wanted our own cart it would cost us an additional $25.This seems very short sighted in the fact we are in the middle of a pandemic. The staff was sorry but said thats what the members decided.In spite of that, the golf was fun. The course is in great shape and we always enjoy playing there.

Lots of intense thinking along with team discussion (discretely) as teams compete in friendly competition to win a round (sometimes more than one) or to score the final jeopardy question which wins the whole prize for the evening! Lots of clapping, too, for a well won round by a team as teams indulge in a great evening of fun! All this and great wine and food available during the evening. Great for all ages in our Club...

Comment: No doubt about it this is the best golf course in Manatee County. I would put it up against the concession any day. It is the only private golf course in West Bradenton. Only 10 minutes to the beaches. The golf course was just completely renovated 1.8 million By Hall of Famer Tony Jacklin. We boast Mr. Jacklin as a member Paul Azinger as a member and Hollis Stacy as a member. If you are a golfer this is a course for you. Come try our member for a day and see if you agree.

Tee shots that easily appear to be in play may very well present a troublesome line into the greens which, by the way, are marvelous in both design and condition.
