Comment: Overall, it was a great stay for the week! That being said we did have a few issues throughout the week. Our key cards for the shared/attached room we had, stopped working and we had to get them to fix it twice. The front door to one of our rooms wouldnt shut unless you pulled up on the whole door as you push it shut. One of the patio doors doesnt shut all the way so you have to just rely on a door look latch to hopefully keep it closed as much as possible. Other than those things, the stay was great and the service for the most part was great as well! The view was amazing thats for sure!

Comment: I loved the convenience to everything. My husband and I could have stayed at the resort the entire time and would have had everything we needed. The restaurants were great, the spa was quite relaxing, and the Champagne Lady Cruise was amazing. Really enjoyed seeing bottleneck dolphins and the sunset while on the cruise. It was on the bay, not the beach, so it wasnt as crowded, but the beaches are within driving distance. Highly recommend!

The last two times I stayed here I was greeted after hours by Ricardo at the main check-in desk. He was very pleasant and great to work worth. Ricardo always goes above and beyond to assist me and that goes a long way in my opinion. Comment: The grounds are landscaped beautifully. The room had a nice bay view, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable! The pool areas were nice. Flip Flops, Tides, and Cabana Cafe served delicious food. The Boardwalk was nice, and the private beach was quiet and relaxing. The complimentary bicycles were a nice surprise.

Comment: For the most part, the stay was great. I was aware that it was in the bay and not on the beach. The only issue we had was that we had a wheelchair accessible shower. There was nothing on the floor to keep the water from going all over the bathroom. We had to put towels and bath matts all over the floor. Also, when the people above out room were taking a shower, the water was leaking into the light fixture in our bathroom. If staying here, I would recommend bringing a car or renting one. It is a little further away for things. Ubering to the different places can be quite expensive. It was a $50 ride from the resort to the airport

Comment: My family and I stayed here a few weeks ago and we over all loved it, nice location, the food outstanding, great drinks at tides! great food at flips, the only issue I had was with a VERY rude bartender, ”Anastasia” she barley looked at me and when she did all she said is what do you want ? And looked at me in disgust! She treated me like i was the scum of the earth and just kept saying how she wanted to go home, she couldn’t even be bothered to bring me my food as someone else brought it to to me while she was on her phone! And when she did finally give me my drink after some odd minutes it wasn’t even that good . When I came back I made sure I got the other bartenders attention and not hers, The Only reason I’m even giving 4 stars in service is because the bartenders around her who were very friendly, And did their best to try to make my experience better The experience would have been so much better if she was just not there.

My daughter was part of a wedding service being held here and long story but we needed the services of a lock smith in a hurry. I was in a panic, but Kristin took my concerns seriously and found somebody that was able to help us within 15!minutes. Seems like a small problem but at the time it was HUGE. So appreciative of Kristin and the service we received!!!

Comment: The staff is amazing! Its a beautiful property. We didnt need to go to the public beach area since there is a private beach and two pools on site. We borrowed the bikes and visited the spa. Ms. Gayla and Lola are incredibly hospitable and a great source of information about the spa, local amenities and area history. We were super impressed with their product knowledge while browsing the boutique.

Comment: Bluegreen just took this property over in January 2023. They are in process of remodeling. The rooms are typical hotel rooms right now. It does have a small mini fridge, a small microwave and a 1 cup coffee maker. The amenities are great! 3 restaurants and a cabana cafe for Starbucks coffees and little to go items to eat. The food at Flip Flops pool bar was very good. We went out on the champagne lady cruise on karaoke night. It was fun. We will go back when construction is completed. Amber was a jem she went above what she had to. She lost her Mom 2 weeks ago and is at work with a smile. She will be in my prayers. Bluegreen you hired a great group of people.

Comment: Took our oldest grands to this resort for a mini vacation during Labor Day weekend and they loved it! There were hermit crabs, starfish, jellyfish, and birds around the private beach area so we spent a lot of time out there exploring. They also enjoyed watching the boats in the bay and swimming in the pool. We will visit again.😊🦀🐚🪼⛵️

We had great service and the “hostess with the mostess”, Kate, was especially helpful in pointing us to all the great local spots for public beach access and restaurants.The rooms were just as everyone has said, hotel rooms. They are updated and have a few nice amenities like a mini fridge and a microwave. I couldn’t find the microwave listed anywhere on the website, so I was pleasantly surprised once we got there. The beds were comfy. We had two rooms that joined and that was nice. We had a view out of building 1 that looked out onto the parking lot and the golf course beyond that. The bathrooms are very small but functional.There was a lot of noise between random dripping sounds and hallway traffic. You could hear every word people said out in the hall. We were somewhat confused as to what to do with trash and towels for four nights/five days, so I highly encourage guests to ask about those things. I feel like they could make that system a little more efficient. It was weird seeing all the trash and dirty towels in the hall every day. Surely there is a better way to take care of that. My suggestion would be to convert one room at the end of every floor into a trash drop off and towel drop off/pickup.We also could have used a broom and dustpan in our room, like other Bluegreen properties provide.The private beach is a nice feature but it definitely has its drawbacks. The water is warm and the water in the pools was warm, so it was hard to find a refreshing dip in a body of water, since it’s 100% humidity in July. Ha! The pools were very cloudy and they both were closed at times during our stay.All the restaurants on site were great and it was really nice to have that option.The pool towel exchange was actually totally doable. It was nice to not have to deal with more towels in the room.Overall it’s a great place and I can see that, as they continue to transform it into a Bluegreen property, it will just keep getting better.

Comment: This is a beautiful place and location. Off the beaten path. Just as many other reviews stated…it’s a hotel room nothing more. Balconies are useless and pools dirty. The private sand beach could be very nice if they would take time to rack the sea grass off daily. Staff at check was very friendly. Bar staff was also friendly but slow. Would understand if they had a full bar but it wasn’t. Maybe we came at a bad time. Food was very good

Currently there are no units available with kitchens. I was told that in the future kitchens would be added to some units. There are 3 food options available on the property. A gift shop and coffee shop are also on site.

Comment: Had a little mix up with billing where I was charged double but reservation was very quick to issue a refund. Check in was somewhat slow, but it was understandable since we went on a long weekend and everybody was checking in at the same time. The room was ok, somewhat dated but clean overall and we were given a room with a gorgeous view of the pool and the bay. The location is fantastic. We loved being able to go on the boardwalk and spend some time in their private beach area overlooking St. Andrews State Park. They have 2 swimming pools, and a hot tub, 3 restaurants on site, 1 was closed because of the weather. The food at Tides restaurant were overpriced, but it tasted great. Overall, for the price was paid to stay here, it was a bargain compared to the overpriced hotels facing the gulf in PCB. Too bad we only had to stay for 1 night. P.S. this is a time share property but they werent pushy about inviting you to attend their sales presentation.

Comment: Park your vehicle and you pretty much dont have to get back in until check out. The food at the multiple on-site restaurants was great. Access to the water, multiple pools, nighttime entertainment, golf, tennis, and water sports is all at your fingertips. Go on the sunset cruise, rent a wave runner for the day, go fishing, or sit by the pool with a beverage and full service bar. Family friendly and accessible for everyone. We will definitely be going back. Thank you for the incredible stay.

Comment: First time that we stayed at this resort. Outstanding is how I will describe it. The views are some of the best. Employees were great, and a couple of them became new friends. Three restaurants on-site, centrally located around many other restaurants. Short drive to the main beach, but the resort has its own private beach on the bay, so we never needed to go and stay on the crowded public beach. The only issues we had are that most of the balconies are for looks only. You can open a sliding door, but most are less than a foot wide, so you cant go out much less set on them. But that is the way the resort was built before Bluegreen purchased it from Sheraton. The restaurants currently are not open for breakfast, but they do have a cabana cafe they has some grab and go breakfast items, and its a Starbucks shop as well, if you like Starbucks. Personally, Im not a big fan of that franchise, but I did purchase an overprice cup of coffee from there because I love coffee. Our room did not have a microwave, we do not know why because there is plenty of room for one. This resort has several pools outside. One is heated, and there is an outdoor hot tub as well. Overall, its a great resort, and even though we are not a big fan of Panama City, we will be back.

There is a private beach Island (you have to see it …so neat) Parents you can have cocktails from the Pool bar and grill and have a perfect view of both pools. Tell me that’s not paradise!2 heated pools, hot tub, spa (with whirlpool), game room, 2 restaurants, coffee shop, gift shop, Boardwalk to a private island 🏝️ beach, boat rentals, clear kayaks and paddle boards (these are cool) bike 🚲 rentals) golf ⛳️ course is next door!I could go on and on!!!Information was hard to find online. Resort was purchased October 1st and they are in process of some changes. This place is AMAZING!!Clean beautiful bay side resort. There is a popular place called Shell 🐚 Island. Rent a boat and go there!!Rooms are amazing and Comfortable. You can do a hotel or condo. For connections to the best activities book starting March 1st in season.

Comment: I had my wedding at the Sheraton, and the staff and catering was absolutely phenomenal. Roxann was incredibly sweet, and always made us a top priority when discussing and reviewing wedding details. The biggest advice I can give future couples is to be patient! The staff is very friendly but also very busy. They will get back to you 😊 Day of, they were on top of everything, and Roxann worked magic moving my wedding indoors due to weather. Reception was beautiful, and the food was amazing! I had many compliments on that. Location was absolutely beautiful as well, and it was secluded to where there were no other resorts near the area, which I loved.The rooms themselves were VERY comfortable, clean, and well prepared for all our guests! We had roughly 80 guests staying at the hotel alone, and they were able to accommodate a large breakfast buffet for everyone that was equally as amazing. Our guests also had so many outdoor activity options, and they took full advantage.I am very happy we did our wedding with the Sheraton, and we highly recommend Roxann. Thank you!

Comment: We had to wait an hour beyond our original scheduled departure. However, owner and staff were very apologetic. They offered to make it up to us by giving us an extra half hour. The trip was well worth what we paid I recommend them to everyone. We were able to adventure from the most northern to the most southern tip of shell island and actually park on the river side and walk over across to the beach side on the golf coast. We saw portions of the beach that were untouched by human footprints. It was awesome!

Comment: A great beach hotel with everything you need to relax and adventure! The private beach is wonderful and relaxing with an abundance of hermit crabs to watch! Walk along the white sand beach or laze away in the shallow water! The pools offer a less sandy alternative to the beach. LOTS of adventures to be had, boating trips, fishing, and waterskiing is available. The hotel restaurant has great food and dedicated servers, but they are understaffed (understandably) and they could use some additional help. The beach bar was a great place to grab a margarita for the beach! The room was great and the front desk staff was really friendly! We really enjoyed this hotel!

Comment: The positive and the negative:I think both are needed for any good review and I will give you both!! I was slightly hesitant about coming to this resort after my wife booked it and after reading some of the reviews from even just six months ago! Well I’d like to tell you things have changed!! I would recommend this clean, updated facility! They have wonderful clear pools, great friendly staff and a variety of dining experiences, snacks and alcohol choices! A vibrant nightlife but this also quiets down after about 10 PM even on the weekends. We are not beach and sun people so this is not a negative to us, but it was a little bit of a walk down the wonderful wooden boardwalk to the private beach area, where we could enjoy lounge chairs and a little sun and some volleyball, plenty of shade from the palm trees and a wonderful breeze coming off the intercoastal waterway! This is not your Seaside Beach resort where you can hear the waves rolling in off the ocean but it is a wonderful time to spend a few days relaxing.Thank you for coming this far in my review now I will give you some of the negatives which the positives, to me really out shine.If you can book the breakfast with your stay it is a good breakfast but I would’ve been highly disappointed if I had paid for it!! We got it with our room reservation. So it’s a good selection of food but it is not worth $25 per person!If you’d like to watch the sunrise and take sunrise pictures this is probably not the hotel for you. Though sunset pictures are nice and I’ve got several and I’ve put a couple in the comments but there is no direct site line to the sunrise easily accessible on this property.If large dogs and pets bother you on a vacation this may or may not be a negative to you but we are not used to SO many pets at a resort facility. My wife had an slight encounter with an over exuberant large dog and it just made me wonder what would happen if it had gotten loose.Overall we had a great experience a wonderful time and a relaxing few days!!We came in early May this was our timeframe I’m not sure what “spring break” or “fall break” would be like but this was a wonderful time for us to get away and I’m glad my wife chose this hotel!

Comment: I hate that today is check out day. I do have some pros and cons about the property but we already determined that we will be back.The pros? Although the rooms are a bit on the normal small size, it didnt feel cramped. The bathroom was a comfortable size. The spa was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The Creme Brule French toast was excellent and well worth the price point. There is a private beach that is very private. Our family and another family were there simultaneously and outside of them coming in, we didnt see them the rest of the time we were there. Flip Flops has delicious virgin drinks for those who can no longer get drink. They are also pet friendly and were really understanding when my mini aussie had a meltdown when my husband went into the spa. My final pro is that the staff is absolutely amazing and we tipped them well because they deserved it. The gift shop and vending machines are also very well priced as well.The cons? If you end up on the higher floors, your deck will be tiny. I wouldnt get breakfast vouchers. We paid for them and didnt even use them. Also, even though the breakfast was good and the expensive tea that we heard at breakfast, the food wasnt worth the price point and they only do the buffet on weekends.They really could shorten the pier. Although I got a great workout on them, it was murder after the spa. Its also not close to anything. If you like never leaving your resort, this will be perfect if they add all inclusive packaging. We, however, are quite adventurous. It was 20 minutes to anything shopping lf recreational. It would also be nice to have vending machines and microwaves on each floor for access since the rooms dont have a microwave. My final gripes are that the game room is kind of sad ad we actually had to look for the gym.Even with these complaints, they still deserve at least a 4 star rating.

Comment: Hotel is hidden in a residential safe area close to everything! Our room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The bathroom is a little snugged but the atmosphere was good overall. The food at Tides Restaurant was good & the server Tracy made it a fun experience for the kids, GREAT JOB!Overall, it was clean. Customer service was 👍 good. Everyone at hotel was kid friendly which to us, & THAT EXPERIENCE made a big difference. Parking was nice and well lit.Other than minor cosmetic stuff around hotel, its a nice Sheraton to go back to and visit. Definitely recommend!

The breakfast was delicious and a cut above other hotels weve stayed. The facities were clean and tidy. We truly enjoyed our stay and cant wait to go back!

Comment: We loved it! Our family had the best time at the resort. The restaurants and food were amazing. We loved the private beach. And lots of pools and even a hot tub. We would definitely go back. I would say the bathrooms are little small in the standard room but maybe next time will upgrade to a larger room. We also had an situation at the lounge. But the hotel took care of it and gave us an amazing array of snacks and waters for our ride home. I was very impressed. They were very considerate and all the Employees were super nice. Our family will be definitely coming back in the future!

Comment: Nice resort! The resort staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean. There are many exciting adventures on site. The beach was a little small for my taste. The food is a complete thumbs down. There are 4 restaurants on site and the all serve the same thing. In my opinion it was awful! I was disappointed there was no where on the property to get fruit.

Comment: Nice resort style hotel with lots of fun to be had. I only stayed for a night as a birthday gift to myself, but I could see myself bringing back the whole family. The amenities are nice: two pools, a hot tub, nice private beach, a couple restaurants, boat rentals, on site golf course, spa, etc… check on their website for all the details. It’s a nice relaxing feeling having a private beach to go to without fighting traffic. Breakfast bar was a little expensive for what they offered but hey what ya gonna do? The rooms were very nice. The staff was a little testy sometimes when asked questions they kind of gave me the run around a little bit. All in all for only one night I left with a very good impression of this place, close enough to front beach road for daily trips to the strip, but far enough away to avoid most of the congestion on departure. Loved it.

Comment: We came down here for our honeymoon in early 2018 and i can say that it felt like a honeymoon too! We reserved months ahead and let the hotel know that it was going to be a honeymoon, they made sure we had a really nice room couple flours up and made sure we enjoyed our view. We stayed a little over a week and we loved it. The staff was so friendly, they have a lot of amenities including a little private island which we enjoyed so so much! I highly recommend this place! Great prices, beautiful environment! Will be coming back for anniversaries! Thank you Sheraton! We will keep coming back and supporting this business!

Comment: We spent Thanksgiving here, 2 grandparents, 2 toddlers, 1 dog and 2 parents who needed a break..The rooms were perfect and so comfortable! We requested a microwave to have in our room, extra towels, courtesy amenities and it was never an issue. This was the first time we were taking our dog on a long vacation and he was in heaven. All dog owners were very courteous to space, the facilities were always super clean and the staff was extremely courteous. The bartender at Tides (the on-site bar/restaurant) is the reason we will be coming back.Thank you for being such a kind hearted person who listened. Big shout out to the chef, the food was always amazing!The property is very big! The private beach was fun to walk too and we enjoyed the property 100%! Thank you for an amazing time!

Comment: This is a great place to stay if you want to be conveniently located but slightly out of the way. The private beach is nice but not what you want if you need to walk the beach of the morning and enjoy the waves rolling in to rest your spirit. Staff was very friendly. Rooms arent serviced by housekeeping during the stay. If you need anything call the front desk before noon. I called two seperate days after noon for towels and toilet paper. That group never brought anything. I had to call again the next day for towels and had to go retrieve toilet paper. Very well situated to do several activities right off the hotel pier. Very nice pools.

Comment: The resort was beautiful and huge, lots to get into. We stayed in the King Bed Bay view (pic below of the view) beginning of March 2020. The bed was comfy, the room was good but the bathroom was really small. Also to get a view from the balcony you have to stand, you cant relax in the chairs provided but the view was beautiful. The hotel staff was accommodating but a little slow, maybe they were really busy??The location was great, about 20 minutes from Pier Park and near lots of restaurants and shops. There are several pools and there was a live band near the bar, gave you a Caribbean feel.The best amenity is the resorts private beach. It s right on the bay, some people were fishing. We relaxed and flew a kite had a great breeze). There are complimentary chairs and umbrellas.Overall, I would stay again!
